How we danced ..... we were the toast of the cabaret ..... the class act of Clitvar Pier ..... the tinsel tease of the Tufted Shag ..... the dogs' bollocks of Blackpool ..... We played them all ..... and then she was gone ..... and I thought I'd never wave my wand again ..........

Jack's back ! Jack is a failed magician and cabaret artiste who now 'doesn't like cabaret and he hates mime'. After his last disastrous show on Clitvar Pier he lost his glamourous assistant Miss Honey Tips. And she so loved his wand ! Now he runs his own seedy bar 'Saucy Jacks', where some 'has-been' acts try to entertain a very rough clientele. He's run into an unlucky streak lately because somebody has been bumping off his acts, and his act with the python hasn't gone down too well. He doesn't seem too worried though. 'Everything's gonna be all right, and that's a promise'.
