Bruno Tonioli - Saucy Jack's choreographer

Sanjeev Bhaskar - guest

Introductions at the start of the show:

Libby - ": …. and Bruno Tonioli - merciless judge in 'Come Dancing 'and choreographer of a stiletto heeled murder camp rock romp."

Interview with Bruno:

Libby - "But anyway lets look at your own work which is currently on show in Leicester Square. At The Venue. An extraordinary music and dance show called 'Saucy Jack and the Space Vixens'. A sort of sexy adult pantomime in a way with a lot of murders. Again see Sanjeev - murder theme here. Murders with stiletto heels on a distant planet, in high silver boots."

Bruno - "Planet Frottage 3. Well you know it's comedy I mean as you can see. It's not 'The Woman In White'. You're gonna have a laugh and I read it and it made me laugh, and I haven't done theatre for a long time, because there is this kind of thing if you work in television or films you're not even considered for anything else. So somehow there is this kind of separation, and the last time I did a theatre show was with Steve Krugener. I worked with Steve for his tour years ago. And every time something comes up he's like 'Well… Bruno'. He does theatre or film or whatever or television you're not considered. And when I got this I said 'somebody wants me - somebody wants me for a show '. And I read it and it made me laugh, and I said well this is something you go in you go in get your drink you have a laugh you enjoy the show."

Libby - "The audience is basically sitting at a bar and Saucy Jack's at a distant planet."

Bruno - "It's like a cabaret bar."

Libby - "And all this space vixen action murder and stiletto heels silver stuff."

Bruno - "Yes there are a lot of very colourful characters."

Sanjeev - "Is this based on a true story ?"

Bruno - "Yes its me. It's based on me. Actually each character is a part of me. But I don't think at this time of the morning I can get into details."

Libby - "Not with a Salvation Army officer sitting next to you. Let's have some decency here."

Bruno - "No but it's colourful and it's (can I say) it's sexy. But it's funny and it is a comedy. And I like to laugh. The dances are choreographed in the comedic sense. They are all character based, so all these weird characters have dances that reflect their character, the situation they're in. And it's a really good night out."
